The vision of the New Bedford High School ELA Department is to prepare students to read and write effectively in all genres and mediums. Students will be exposed to a myriad of texts that allow students to see themselves reflected in and students will develop the skills to analyze these texts on a deep and meaningful level. Students will attain excellent writing skills that are transferable to other classes, to college, and into the workforce.
