Somerset Federal Credit Union Scholarship Program
Award:
$1,000 - 2 awards
Eligibility: Applicants must submit an essay that is no more than two pages typed in double spaced with a maximum of 500 words. Applicants should not put their names on the essay, a committee member will review essays anonymously. Your essay should focus on the credit union philosophy of "people helping people" and how your commitment to educational and career goals will make a difference in your community and chosen field. Applications must be returned in-person to Somerset Federal Credit Union, or delivered via postal service.

Hawthorn Medical Associates Scholarship Program

Eligibility: Applicants must be graduating seniors pursuing a degree in the medical field. Included with the application must be an official transcript, two reference letters (non-family, one must be academic reference), proof of acceptance into an accredited education program, and a short essay describing: reason for pursuing the particular area of study/career plans, academic accomplishments, employment or volunteer activities related to your chosen area of study, and financial issues that could be an obstacle to pursuing study.

Massachusetts AFL-CIO Scholarship Awards Program

Eligibility: 
Applicants must be in the senior class. An online exam consisting of 30 multiple choice questions and one essay question is required to apply. Exams will take place between Monday, January 31, 2022 and Friday February 4, 2022. Winners will be notified in April via email.
