Vision:

The vision of the New Bedford High School Science Department is to empower students to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators. Our science courses provide all students with laboratory experiences using various methods of investigation, such as observation, design and analysis, experimentation, and interpretation of data. Students will be able to apply their scientific knowledge to contemporary issues, making connections between scientific disciplines, and pursuing post-secondary education or 21st-century  careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
